An Inspired Menu by the Plaza Athénée
Vogue - To mark Fashion Week haute couture Fall/Winter 2016-2017 event, the legendary Avenue Montaigne Hotel paid homage to Christian Dior with a five star dinner menu.
Under the leadership of Alain Ducasse, Chef Philippe Marc has created a menu inspired by the designer’s favorite recipe book La Cuisine Cousu-main.
Since Christian Dior’s first show for Spring/Summer 1947 to the present day, the French house and the hotel have remained closely linked.
As well as asking his models to pose in front of the luxury hotel, Christian Dior named one of his dresses "Plaza" and was influenced by the hotel when creating the iconic Bar suit.
