Dr.Rana Babaç Çelebi is a clinical aromatherapist and history of medicine researcher at Medipol University’s International School of Medicine.

 

Her research specialization is the use of scent (incense, perfume and eau de cologne) within the historical discourse of treatment. She periodically teaches aromatherapy and perfume courses online and offline.

 

In line with her research interests and professional efforts, for the past 10 years Rana has also been going back and forth between İstanbul and Isparta, producing various traditional medicine formulas using fragrant roses (rosa damascena). In addition to cultivating various medicinal and aromatic plants in the Mount Ida region with her husband, Çelebi is also the founder of Turkey's first online medicinal and aromatic plants library CerciYusuf.org.

Dr.Rana Babaç Çelebi is a member of American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association, National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy, WWF, Aromatherapy Association in Turkey, Bugday Ecological Life Foundation and Robert College Alumni Association.
